Wild Faith

Synopsis

"Wild Faith" is a Christian faith-based movie set in Michigan in 1875. It follows the story of Emmett Murphy (Shane Hagedorn) a Civil War Union veteran and widow, compelled to keep a promise to a dying black soldier who saved his life - go back to Michigan and protect the soldier's wife and young daughter.

Emmet returns home and fulfills his promise by taking in the soldier’s recently emancipated wife and daughter thus creating an interracial family, much to the chagrin of his unforgiving neighbors.

But the arrival of a traveling circus train changes everything. And incites the most unlikely set of events that will push everyone to the limits.

Though Wild Faith is a Civil War western, its grave subject matter of racial discrimination, reliance on God under extreme pressure, and sacrificial behavior for others is extremely relevant today.
